List of Cheapest Mobile Phones in India

If you need a mobile phone just for calls and messaging, even the cheapest mobile phone will do the job. The only factors that need to be taken into consideration apart from the price will be battery life and build of the phone. There are many Chinese mobile phones for less than Rs. 1000 in India but I will not cover them here. Only ‘branded’ phones are covered in this list. The list is by no means exhaustive.

Micromax X103i

The Micromax X103i is a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) entry level phone which comes with a 1.7-inch TFT screen. It also comes with FM radio and a 0.3 MP primary camera. The best feature of this phone is its 1750 mAh marathon battery which provides excellent backup. The phone is priced at Rs. 950 (Approx).

Micromax X088

The Micromax X088 is another dual SIM phone from Micromax. The phone is very similar to the one above but comes with a weaker 950 mAh battery. However, the battery provides good backup (4 hours of talk time and 240 hours in standby). Taking the price (Rs. 900 approx) into consideration, the Micromax X088 is definitely one of the best phones in this range.

Spice Boss Trendy 4 M-5004

Features of the Spice Boss Trendy 4 M-5004 include 0.3 MP primary camera, 1.8-inch TFT LCD screen, GPRS support, Bluetooth, dual standby SIM (GSM + GSM) and FM radio. The phone is priced at Rs. 1000 (Approx).

iBall Vogue 1.8-KK18

The iBall Vogue 1.8-KK18 sports a trendy design and also comes with good battery backup. It is powered by an 1800 mAh battery. Features include a wide 4.5 cm (1.8 inch) display, ergonomic keypad, digital camera, good sound and LED torch. The phone is priced at about Rs. 1000.

iBall King 1.8D

The iBall King 1.8D comes in a compact bar design and sports a 1.8 inch bright display. It supports micro sd card up to 8gb and is powered by an 1800 mAh battery. The battery provides ample talk time of 6 hours and 300 hours standby. The phone is priced at Rs. 1100 (Approx).

Lava Arc 4 Star

The Lava Arc 4 Star comes with basic features such as alphanumeric Keypad, expandable Storage capacity of 8 GB, dual standby SIM (GSM + GSM), Bluetooth support, 0.3 MP camera and FM Radio with recording. It is powered by a 1000 mAh battery. The overall build quality is good and looks are decent. The Lava Arc 4 Star is priced at Rs. 1000 (Approx).

Lava Arc 11i
