There are rumours and speculations that HTC’s One Max will hit the market in the month of September this year. However, its specifications will be somewhat different from the One we know. It is expected to have a 6-inch screen. Powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip, 2 GB of RAM and a 3200 mAh battery, the One Max will have up to 64 GB of storage.
The release date of the One Max will pit it directly against Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 which if Samsung holds to its tradition of released a new Note at IFA every year. Currently, there is no further information about the One Max.
We can’t be sure if it will support handwriting input. It should be noted that this is one of the key attractions of Samsung’s Note series and also Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra. It appears logical that HTC will include this feature in its device. HTC has not bothered to provide stylus support since its 7-inch Flyer tablet which was introduced in 2011.
Information about HTC’s One mini which has long been rumoured have also surfaced. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor and will feature a 720p 4.3-inch display. It will also feature 16 GB of storage. An official announcement is expected at some point in the next two weeks.
