Celkon Unveils Campus Q405; 4 Inch Display, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, Android KitKat

Indian smartphone maker Celkon has launched a new smartphone named Celkon Campus Q405 in Indian market. The phone is affordably priced at Rs 3199 and is aimed at entry-level smartphone users. The phone is exclusively available through e-commerce site Snapdeal and comes in four-color variants — white, gold, blue and black.

Coming to the specifications of the device, the Campus Q405 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. The phone features a 4 inch WVGA IPS display with 480×800 pixel resolution. The device also features 4GB of inbuilt storage and has a microSD slot which allows the user to expand the storage up to 32 GB.

The Campus Q405 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. On the front of the device, there is a 3.2 megapixel camera and there is a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front. Connectivity features include support for 3G, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, micro USB and Bluetooth. Coming to the battery, the device features a 1500mAh battery which provides decent backup.

Celkon is launching the Q405 exclusively for the e-tail market which has expanded significantly in the recent years in India. The company aims to bring forward a smartphone capable of fulfilling every individual’s needs and believes that the Q405 is a step in this direction.
